When the body of a beautiful young woman is found in the back seat of a new Mercedes on the outskirts of the small central California town of San Timoteo in 1991, Police Chief Paul Thibideaux heads the investigation. About the Author

Ronald Gauge served in the US Marines in the Vietnam War and spent four years as a police officer before becoming a US Treasury Agent. During his career, Gauge worked for ATF, the Secret Service, and the US Customs Service. He lives in the foothills of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains, California.
