About the Book
Narrated from a child’s point of view, The Best Day Ever! unfolds with a bold declaration of disdain for school. The story continues as the child eats cold cereal for breakfast, misses the school bus, gets his feet wet in a puddle, and is ultimately late walking toschool. Troubles continue in school. Another student sits in his seat, he hasn’t studied for a spelling test, and his teacher selects him even though he’s not raising his hand. It seems like this day is going from bad to worse, or is it? This story is designed to entertain as well as to enlighten, and impart a message about positive thinking.
