About the Author

R. James Sands is a poet, writer and children’s book author. He lives in Holden, Maine with his wife, two sons and a hound dog named Rourke. They live not far from a wood line that provides both inspiration and plenty of creatures for Rourke’s watchful eyes. James is currently working on a collection of poetry, a second children’s book, and a collection of short stories. He hopes to be finished with at least one of these projects soon, but much depends upon the cooperation of his fourteen-month-old son.
