About the Book
This book is Bilingual. (English/Spanish)
Much like humans, animals have emotions. They can be happy, angry, fearful, and sad. These emotions contribute to their survival in a world that can be cruel. Unlike humans, they are limited in the ways that they can communicate their emotions. They do, however, have a keen instinct which helps guide their behavior. When humans and animals bond a wonderful thing happens. A spiritual communication takes over which helps humans and their pets--understand. Animals who are abandoned rely on this survival instinct as they proceed with caution in an uncertain environment. They are sad, fearful, and perhaps angry. When they are rescued they carefully decide if the home that takes them in is now theirs and when they bond occurs it lasts forever.
About the Author
As a child, Dr. Garza owned cats and a parakeet. She has marveled at the relationships which pets form with humans and their survival instincts. Pets teach us about life, love, and patience. She taught her two children to always value these pet attributes. This story is not only about rescued kitten and how she transformed the household; but it also shows the many similarities between the emotional experiences of pets and humans--because many humans need rescuing, too!
