Life is just a road that we travel on; one day we are here, and the next we’re gone. The path that we choose at the Fork in the Road will determine your final destination. The way we pass through will decide how the road will appear for the next travelers. The only things that separate our first steps from the last are Time and Space. How you experience this “Trip” is left completely up to you.
As a person in this world we start out life as an infant, who requires the nurturing hands of someone like our mother to make it through the first years of our lives. Without that helping hand to guide, feed, and shelter us, we would certainly not survive in this inhospitable environment. If we’re fortunate enough to continue on, we’ll soon begin to crawl; eventually, taking our very first steps. Some time passes by, and after multiple attempts and falls, we inevitably learn to walk.
In the beginning walking any short stretch is a real challenge; but as are steps become more natural, the area from one end of a room to the other seems smaller than it once did. As we mature some more, we learn to run in the areas where we once crawled. The distances that once appeared to be enormous through the eyes of an infant, become increasingly less significant to us. They turn into Baby Steps.
These areas that we travel through increase as we mature in years. Our range is continuously expanding by leaps and bounds. We learn to run out of the living room, (where we once crawled) out of the house, and into the streets. Our neighborhoods become a new world for us to explore. Only time and energy will prove to limit our strides. Eventually, most of us will learn to drive a car; learning to travel the distances we once walked in a fraction of the time. Several years and numerous experiences later, these new places start to feel as familiar as our hometowns once did. It seems as if the cities and states get smaller as we get older; but that realization is only a matter of perspective.
We’re just infants in a Universe of an incredible age, crawling through the living room of our galaxy. Areas that currently appear infinite will become indefinitely smaller. The Universe will continuously shrink through the eyes of our perspectives.
We’re floating through space and time in a Universe full of mystery and wonder, blind to our true existence. We exist in an infinite Universe with trillions of stars, which contains planets that likely supported life for billions of years; before we, “the Seed of Life” had ever been planted here on Earth.
By reason alone there are never ending societies, of infinitely wiser races of extraterrestrial beings, who’ve in all likelihood mastered concepts that we can’t even begin to imagine. There exist infinite scores of planets and species not completely unlike our own, that have evolved many millions of years beyond our time in existence; home to residents that have learned to fly through space and time, where we’re just learning to crawl.
If you’re capable of expanding your thoughts and self awareness enough to consider these possibilities, or that even just one planet in this infinite Universe has progressed enough to travel through space and time; traveling the vast distances involved in visiting Earth; then you must realize in an ever-growing Universe, the same possibilities exist on an endless time-frame, within an infinite number of parallel circumstances. If you can visualize these basic concepts; then you must comprehend it’s more than possible, there are millions of civilizations within the vastness of infinity; that we’ve been visited by a number of those species.
These Adults in “the Life of the Universe” may have planted the very first “seed of life”, which we’re still germinating today, in the process known to us as evolution. They may be the very same seeds of life that started the process of evolution on their planet, billions, if not trillions of years ago. If we continue to evolve as a species on this planet; isn’t it probable that with enough time, we’ll develop into something completely unrecognizable to ourselves at this point?
Since the beginning of recorded history, before we had a real understanding of technology; we assumed that everything we couldn’t explain was the work of Gods, Angels, and Demons. Much like the legends of sea monsters, which explained missing ships of days past; we used these basic rationalizations to explain what we didn’t know…
(What we couldn’t begin to understand)
As we developed our intelligence more things became understandable through science and reason alone. “Gods” and “Angels” became advanced entities, extraterrestrial to our world. They were described as coming here from the Heavens on chariots of fire; navigating vessels that we were not yet capable of comprehending what they were, or how they could have operated. These vessels were completely unidentifiable to us at the point in time in which they were recorded in our history. Considering our contemporary definitions...they were “Unidentified Flying Objects”
Are the hundreds of religions, existing throughout the globe, separated by time and space, which recorded similar “Gods” just a coincidence? Did they all share the same dreams of supernatural life forms coming down from the Heavens; or isn’t it possible that we, (primitive people) having had a limited vocabulary and understanding of the Universe, did the best that we could to explain extraterrestrial visitors here on the planet Earth? In the light of this plausible reality; what would be the species motivations for visitation? Is it improbable to surmise that these “Gods” visited us in our infancy to make sure we would survive like a mother nurturing her young? Could we possibly have evolved and survived at the same time without that helping hand?
The concept of the once outrageous has evolved into an undeniable theory, which may in fact contain just as much validity as gravity itself. When all things are logically considered, viewed scientifically, without any old fashioned, close minded, objectionable opinions; what’s the most realistic conclusion to this question?
