The break up of the supercontinent Pangea, 220 million years ago, produced environmental differences that also produced different life forms. Dinosaurs in isolated Africa, Australia lived in forests to become tree-dwellers. In other parts of Pangea, some dinosaurs lived in caves to avoid the large carnivores to become cave-dwellers. Some large, biped dinosaurs also lived on Earth's surface to become surface-dwellers. Approximately 119 million years of adaptations to the special environments, later, biped Caveman and Giant Man, and four-limbed apes appeared on the Earth, simultaneously. About the Author
I've always sought and collected information about Earth-Space Science. From childhood, I've observed and wondered how a black layer of soil ringed an old well at home, about eight feet below the surface...(a prehistoric eruption of Mt. Isarog located a few miles from my old hometown in Camarines Sur, Philippines). After retirement in 2006, I've finally satisfied my interest, by teaching myself via studying a college textbook - Essentials of Geology by Lutgens & Tarbuck, a textbook on Astronomy, and Education to prepare for a Florida Teachers Certification Exam. I obtained PASS grades to be eligible to teach Earth-Space Science (6-12) in FL. Then, I took and finished a formal training in Education at the Teachers Academy in Lake City Community College, Lake City FL in 2007. I've also obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering at Feati U in Manila, Philippines before I came to the USA. During my secondary and college days, and even now, I practically live-in public libraries, reading about common and unusual phenomena around the Earth, as well as watching movies... I'm mostly, a self-taught geologist and teacher of Earth-Space Science. I'm living in Sierra Blanca, TX USA, alone and doing what I can, through words, words, and more words on making life easier for mammalian Man!
