About the Book

This book is about facts, fiction and fun. These are poems about facts of life and things that are happening now. They talk of fiction of things that could happen or things that we wish would happen. The fun of this book is something for everyone of all ages.

About the Author

One reason I feel I'm qualified because I have been writing for 31 years. During my writing, I find that it gives my pleasure and satisfaction. I was born in Jefferson County, Birmingham, Alabama. I am a 1971 graduated of Wenohan High School, Birmingham, Alabama. Reading and writing is my favorite hobbies. It was only in 1995 that it was brought to my attention by a co-workers, Kay Little, that I was good at what wrote. She had me entering in many poetry contests which led me to compete in California with other poetry writers where I won a diamond harmony trophy for one of my poem. Over the years, I found that I could write about almost everything and anything. I'm the mother two children, one grandson, and one great-grand daughter. Now I have resides in Selma, Alabama, for the last 39 years.
