Volume II of Wheeler's Wake completes the story of Willis "Wheeler" Little, a remarkable electrical engineer, a pioneer in commercial radio who was involved the development of radar and shortwave transmissions during World War II, and introduced television to Canadians after the war. He managed all this while dealing with a mentally ill wife who took her own life in 1953. It is told by Andrew Clyde Little, Wheeler's son, who fashioned a journalism career with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation using the technology his father developed. It is a biographical novel.
