About the Book
Chance, the cat, has one big dream, to play ball in the big lake. This makes Chance a little different from everyone else. None of his friends like to swim, so his dream seems impossible. The alligators in the big lake will not allow hm to swim with them because he's a cat, and everyone knows cats don't swim. Into his life walks a new friend, Patrick, the frog, who makes his dream possible.
About the Author
Lestat Alexander is a professional artist and art instructor, teaching design and drawing, at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, LA. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting and drawing from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Ms. Alexander also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting with a minor in art history from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and associate degrees in Art/Fine Art and Liberal Art from Greenfield Community College in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Her art work has been exhibited in Lubbock, Austin, Houston and Laredo, Texas, Amherst, Massachusetts and Columbus, Ohio. Ms. Alexander was a member of the U.S. Armed Forces from 1976 - 1981 and has lived in Vicenza, Italy, Osan AFB, Korea, Izmir, Turkey, and Naples, Italy. She currently resides in the heart of Cajun country in Lafayette Louisiana with her beloved muses Chance Harper, Scarlet O'Hara, and Bandit Shaw.
