About the Book

This book was written in the middle of many sleepless nights. The type of night that doesn't end until the birds start chirping. Listening to records and being seduced by the power of music. Often times not able to write a single line until the sunrise, and then in an instant the words would fill my head rush on the page. These poems are about facing up to the fact that one might not be the person they think they are and the conflict that grows inside as a result. This book is based on struggles with alcohol and an ongoing effort to be better. It is the realization that the world is drowning in a sea of hypocrisy and is becoming increasingly more difficult to change.

About the Author

He is a person who is in recovery from alcohol & drugs. He had many struggles with addiction and self esteem. He spent many years drunk, broke, in out of trouble until almost dying in a alcohol related accident. After that he decided to go to church and try a better lifestyle.That is when his life began to change for the better. He was born in California, but raised in New Mexico, then lived in California and Hawaii.
