To silence Christians they are quick to quote Romans 13:1. Their self-serving interpretation of this verse places “government” in this passage as the “higher power”. Then they insist we have a duty to obey whatever laws they pass. Some new translations of The Bible even substitute “government” for “higher powers”. As Christians we have a responsibility to be true to God’s word and not tolerate anyone corrupting it for their own purposes. The translation of Romans 13:1 is the center battleground on the question if Christians must blindly cooperate with government dictates. If the new world order is successful in deceiving Christians with this verse they will be free to pursue their agenda without opposition or accountability. By studying this verse we will see that they have corrupted what God had given in His word and our duty is to oppose them. In Romans 13:1 the Greek word “exousia” was translated “higher powers”. It is significant that Strong’s Greek Dictionary does not define this word as “government”, which is the translation promoted by the new world order. According to Strong’s this word actually has a lengthy, detailed definition. The closest my 1980 version comes to any reference to “government” is a single listing of “magistrate”. One listing among many other options includes “jurisdictional authority”. If God had meant “government” He would have said “government”. The word is used many times in scripture in many contexts. We have a duty as Christians to study the entire word of God and to know it rather than making doctrine out of a single scripture. The section of this book titled “God’s view of government” highlights from scripture that God does not have a favorable view of the governments of men and no small part of that is due to the promotion of ungodliness by government. If our desire is to serve God then our commitment is to follow His word and not a self-serving corruption of His word, given us by His enemies. God’s view on government and service should be highly significant to all Christians. A more accurate translation of “higher powers” from Romans 13:1 is “jurisdictions” and the best translation would read “jurisdictional authority”. God has delegated three areas of “jurisdictional authority” as pertains to Romans 13:1. Satan’s authority is beyond these three as it was not delegated by God and is unlawful authority. The three jurisdictional authorities God has delegated are: 1) Priesthood 2) Patriarch 3) Civil Christians should know that God would not give total and irrevocable power for men to rule the earth and Christians should know that God would never give authority for ungodly men to rule over the church! God has appointed duties and responsibilities to each jurisdiction, which gives them full authority to function as God intends. This is the limit of Godly authority for each entity. Let’s begin with the third jurisdiction, which is civil government. Today the new world order is diligently laboring to create acceptance of the belief that they are the only legitimate authority. Immediately we recognize this means they must literally declare war on the other two entities to steal their authority. Their best tactic would be to foster ignorance that no such authority exists in these other areas. It is vital that Christians and patriots understand both The Biblical System of civil government and The American system of civil government. In these two systems, civil government is limited and designed to be a weaker entity than the church and family. This is what God ordained and this is what our founders understood. Romans 13:4 describes the absolute and complete authority that God ascribed for civil government. Twice the Greek word “diakonos” is used from which we get our words “deacon” and “servant”. It reads “Ministers of God” or “God’s Minister” in most modern translations. Hence we get the terms “Prime Minister”, “Foreign Minister”, “etc”. Read it for yourself: “Minister of God”. Men serving in these positions are not to represent themselves or their personal ambitions and they are not to represent other men, not even a king. The implication is that they are God’s Minister(s) to the people. Even though their immediate duties are to government they are accountable to God and obligated to serve according to His standards. The authority to represent God is not unlimited or unaccountable power but delegated power and the civil government is but a single jurisdiction. All three jurisdictions are to respect each other’s jurisdiction and be held accountable by the other two jurisdictions. Romans 13:4 states that authority is given to civil government for a mere two purposes, to reward good works and “…to execute wrath upon he who doeth evil”. This is the sole purpose of a Godly civil government. They do not possess Godly authority to rob (or tax) one to “feed” another. They do not possess Godly authority to create massive public works programs from which they can dispense political favors upon loyal party members and competitively weaken privately owned business in the market place, businesses that may oppose their agenda or support their competition Government has no Godly authority to pursue any number of efforts we witness them mastering control of today. Their sole responsibility is to keep civil order by protecting lives and property from enemies foreign and domestic by punishing those who disrespect lives and property. In history we seldom have seen lives and property more disrespected than they are by governments today. Perhaps the king only awarded property to cohorts but once awarded he respected their ownership. Destroying private property rights is the agenda of every government. We can note that protecting lives has ceased to be a priority as well. Crime is high and yet our prisons have revolving doors and wars are fought simply to serve corporate greed. Furthermore, the term “he who doeth evil” is used in scripture. God did not even give government the authority to define evil. By government’s definition, anyone who opposes their agenda is evil. Those who must die to further their agenda are inconsequential and those who stand for Godly standards are the most hated of all. God defined what is evil and thereby hindered government from expanding it’s own authority but for God’s system to work, Godly people must labor to insure God’s word is revered and applied. Today Christians are taught to yield complete obedience to whoever occupies The White House or any government office. Any student of history knows this philosophy is new in our country. The reader can recognize how this deception is a self-serving effort by the new world order to grab control of government and destroy God’s system. We can recognize that this lie has had enormous success for the new world order. This teaching that “Christians must obey government” cannot be true as a blanket statement. Our system of government does not make us subjects under the will of rulers. We are a free people and if politicians fail to recognize this than it is a failure on our part to hold them to their jurisdictional limit. In The United States government is to obey citizens. Satan has been too successful in switching this around. Government’s only authority exists when people violate the lives or property of another. Christian leaders of years past held their government leaders to a high accountability but since modern day Christians have abandoned the process government has grown out of control and increasingly evil.
