About the Book

This story although fiction is derived through study of the Nez Perce indians of the Chief Joseph tribe and is intended to depict the cultural change of " Living From the Land and verses Living Off The Land as the practices of agriculture and animal husbandry were adopted.

About the Author

Hal Cole born Harold Albert cole; parents: Father Benjamin Harrison Cole, Mother Ida Amelia Nelson ( one of the Wyoming Triplets. DOB 11-02-1923. Place Thermopolis, Wyoming. After high school entered US Army Air Force; Served in WWII as a Radio Operator Gunner in the 15th Air Force. In Italy. Later re-enlisted in the Air Force; flew as a Radio operator on Air Evac Flights during the Korean War. Retired from the Air Force in Sept 1966. Enrolled in Sonoma State College Rohnert Park California; graduating with a BA in Geography. Published his first book "GENWO' in 2004. Presently resides in Libby, Montana.
