About the Author
As a pastor, mother and pet lover I have always been interested in what children learn as they hear stories. As the mother of both an adopted daughter and biological son, I discovered the value of stories to teach my children valuable lessons about life and their place in it. Having read many pet stories to my children when they were young, I recognize the need for quality stories that shape and guide their young lives. Living in a rural area in Pennsylvania, I have had many pets in my life: dogs, cats, turtles, chipmunks, and various farm animals, but dogs have always been my pet of choice. As a pastor I have discovered no other animal who so strongly models unconditional love. At this stage of my life, somewhere between children and grandchildren, my life again has been transformed by the love of a Perfect Little Puppy.
