The woods are enchanting, with everything a new. Trees are alive. With their green leaves blooming out Birds sing love songs Squirrels scamming up a tree A deer in the distance Stands watching you and me.

About the Author

Always had a urge to write and put my feelings into words. I found poetry the best way to express feelings, experiences, life's up and downs. While relaxing words and thoughts just come to mind and I put them down on paper. My 11 though 12th grade my teacher inspired me to read poetry and write our feelings and thoughts on paper. From that time on I started writing and have never stopped. Some of my work has be been published in the Untied States and in London England. I live in a small country town in Southwest Louisiana called Egan. I am an Air Force Veteran, widowed with 2 sons James and John and have to wonderful grand Children. I lost my husband to cancer in 2009. Now I live in my home with Little Bitt my little Dog.
