Dear Angela - Clown I have this picture of us when we were in the Riley Hospital waiting room just before Kaitlyn’s fitting for the leg cast. We were all sitting on a bench while someone took a picture of us with our camera. The interesting thing about the picture, when we got it developed, was that a person dressed as a clown was standing behind Kaitlyn. The person had a white face from what appeared to be a lot of make-up. I thought it was somewhat weird at the time because I didn’t remember a clown being behind us. No one remembered a clown being behind us during the picture taking. No one remembered a clown being at the hospital that day. The person appeared be a clown, but in retrospect I’m not so sure it was a clown. I didn’t question anything at the time. We were preoccupied concerning Kaitlyn’s surgery. I later thought the clown looked more like a spirit or a spiritual being. I worked hard to get that photo from your mother because it meant a lot to me. I now definitely see the clown as a spirit, another sign, another omen that I ignored I have become much more spiritual since seeing that clown. I’m not sure where that photo is now. I will look for it very soon and make sure I have it. It seems hard for me to keep track of that picture. I hope I haven’t lost it. I think I put it in a safe place and now can’t remember the safe place. It’s strange how I can remember so many details of our history, but can’t keep track of that photo.
