About the Book

This book is a collection of poems from my heart. Each poem written has a face to it inspired by people I’ve met along the way. As you read this book of poems, you will discover that its words and its messages relate to our own experiences. Enjoy and learn from this as I have. However we use our words, it surely comes from our hearts. And sometimes, in the matter of heart, you have to go through it to learn.

About the Author

I was born on a Palm Sunday in the year 1975, March 23. I migrated in the United States at the age of fifteen to be with my parents and five other siblings. I graduated high school in Jersey City, New Jersey, and pursued nursing. I am currently working as a full-time nurse and have been in this field for about twelve years. I am also a mother of three great children, namely, Daniel Jay Amante, Danica Amante, and Diether James Amante.
