About the Author

Rande lives in California with her dog, Niko. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She adores her five wonderful nieces and nephews: Spenser, Madyson, MaKenzie, Carly, and Blake. Rande tries her hand at gardening every year with her dad’s expert guidance, and this is where she came up with the idea about pickles. Rande hopes that as children read this tale of fruits and vegetables, it will spark interest in gardening and healthy eating. She appreciates all the support and encouragement she received from John and her family in writing her first book.
