About the Book
Brilliant Sky Toys and Books, Houston First Baptist Children, my nieces, and friends children contributed to this book and are now published illustrators. Thanks kids, B/W text along with colorful pictures. Great Great Job! Translations in English, Greek, Spanish, German, and Italian from our family. This book is a fun book to learn to read and to learn your ABC's. I wish I had a book like this to read with my grandmother. My grandmother was from Mexico and could not speak English. I could not speak Spanish. Hopefully, this book can be read by the kids and grandparents. This would have been a good way for me to learn another language too. The children that participated in the artwork did a wonderful job. I am so thankful for their contribution. I hope everyone enjoys reading and the pictures. This book is dedicated to Madelyn's 1st birthday. The names are her friends and family and some of mine too. Madelyn is our first grandchild. Happy Birthday Madelyn!
About the Author
Paddleduck was a name given to Julie when she was a child. Her grandfather thought she looked like a duck paddling in the water when she went swimming. He called her, "Paddleduck". Julie has four sisters (Kathy, Ellen, Cindy, Carolyn) and nine nieces and nephews. She bought many books through the years and then decided to publish one for her family with their entire heritage. This book has translations in English, Greek, Spanish, German, and Italian. Aunt Julie is from Houston, Texas and loves to write, draw, sketch, and color.
