About the Author
Earl LeRoy Good was born on August 3, 1921, in Ligonier, Indiana, where he later became a farm boy. He attended schools wherever we lived until we arrived in Elkbart, Indiana. He graduated in Elkbart High in 1940. He was employed at Elkhart Brass Company for turret lathe production, and he enlisted in the Army Air Corps on January 9, 1941. He graduated as staff sergeant pilot on December 12, 1941. He flew all types of aircraft. He got overseas assignment from 1943 through 1945. He served two more overseas assignments and returned. He retired as a lieutenant colonel USAF with twenty-five years of service on November 1, 1965. He was a merit employee with the Delaware State for Right of Way, Engineering, environmental, and housing under HUD with fifteen years credit and Seminole Engineering for one year. He held art training classes in the Methodist Church of St. Petersburg and attended the St. Petersburg Seminary and served as associate and chaplain, Egypt Shrine, Tampa, Florida. At present, he’s a member of the First Baptist Church, Brandon, Florida.
