This book is made to show children that just because some of their families or their friends’ families are not traditional, there is nothing wrong with them. That just because you may have two dads and no mom or two moms and no dad, your family is not weird or broke but perfect for the people in it who love each other.

About the Author

The most important thing to Mayah is family, and though she did not have a traditional family, she was always made to feel as though her family was perfect for her. This is the same feeling that she wants to bring to children around the world.
