It’s very hard to get the courage to tell someone if you are being bullied, especially if you are a young boy in second grade. Who wants to look like a sissy? Not Brandon. He would rather suffer than tell. But Ruby disagrees with that philosophy, and she manages to respect Brandon’s wishes and solve the bullying problem as well.

About the Author

Renee Grant-Kane has been an educator for over thirty years, teaching primarily at the elementary school level. Teaching has been her lifelong passion. She has master’s degrees in education and administration and is currently working as an administrator in an elementary school, working with children ages five to twelve.
