About the Book
New friends is a story of a lonely, shy young man with Juvenile Diabetes. Unable to attend school because of his health issues, he becomes a loner until one day he meets a stray. A mutual relationship develops from which a whole new world of relationships are created. The young man finds that he has an undiscovered talent which will catapult him not only into a successful career but an ever widening circle of friendships.

Margot A. Tirado is a retired teacher and tutor who has more than forty years experience working with children with learning disabilities, social, and emotional difficulties. Over the span of years she has not only been an educator but a trusted friend.
