This book is about a little girl who want's to go outside and play, but the weather gets in the way.

About the Author

Sharon Scott lives in Ontario, Canada with her 4 kids. She is the fourth youngest of 14 children and is a special needs bus driver. She has spent most of her adult life interacting with preschool children. She was a volunteer on the board of Our Children Our Future for ten years, organizing activities for preschool children and prenatal nutritional information for expectant mothers. She did not intend to write a book but one stormy night when her son was very young and wouldn't sleep and she was walking him at midnight, she told him a story she made up on the spot. It seemed to sooth him. In the morning she wrote it down just in case she needed it again. That story and the illustrations she created to accompany it are in this book.
