About the Book

It's For The Birds! is simply a book about various kinds of birds doing all kinds of fun activities and having interesting adventures. These birds have much to say. They like to take part in all types of activities and have a lot of fun. In addition, the birds like to laugh and take things easy. Peacocks, owls, magpies, ostrich, and other birds will have your little very happy.

About the Author

I am originally from Indiana and moved to Florida in 1980. When I was a child I loved watching cartoons with my sister as well as reading the comic pages in the newspaper. The various characters really made me laugh. I graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando with a B.A. in Business Administration. When I finished school, I developed an interest in writing. I enjoyed going to the library and bookstores, flipping through the many books for children. The look of the characters, the story lines and scenery really caught my eye. I enjoy writing books for young people because it really engages the imagination. There are so many things one can write and do when writing children books. The main reason I get enjoyment out of writing for children is to see their eyes light up and to see the smiles on their faces.
