My Journey to the Fountain of Youth

Of all that I have gained, my spirituality is my most valued possession. It has taken me the sum total of my life to get to a point where I can say that I have attained enlightenment. You will probably ask why I am so matter of fact, and my reply is that I have paid my dues in this life and learned my life’s lessons first hand. Not what someone told me or something that I read, it is the real deal!

Having been consumed throughout my life with what others have said, whether they were educators, ministers, or persons in general, one has to come to the point in life to know that all they need is within themselves. You have all the answers and the biggest mistakes we make are allowing someone to extinguish our dreams to follow someone else’s dreams. Growing up there were many issues that were not discussed. My advice to all is to question all information that is received and know that everyone has an agenda. Let your agenda, only if it is pure and honorable be what you focus on, because there are so many distractions in our lives today that will hinder us from getting to our true selves. Know thy self and you will have accomplished your life’s mission. You create your own destiny. As we become co-creators with the universe, having tapped into our beginnings, we will come to understand that this is just a test. No mistakes, just lessons in life, issues we have to address and overcome. Our dress rehearsal, so, bring your best selves onto the stage of life, as you represent what you aspire even as you aspire. It is not the destination, but the journey we must embrace and enjoy. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us, but today is what we have and it is a true gift. Awake each morning with thanksgiving that you have the opportunity to see the sunrise and set, to see the majestic wonders of our creator, we are blessed. Learn to share with others your passion, whatever it is that you love to do. Find work that you love to do and do it well, even do it for free, because it is what you love to do.
