Paddy's Garden

Paddy the platypus lived in a small burrow on a riverbank in Fantigo Forest. He loved his home, but most of all he loved his garden. Paddy went out everyday to water his garden and make sure the sun could reach it. Then he would watch, and watch, and watch. The carrots, peas, lettuce, and potatoes grew bigger and bigger, but the flowers would not grow. “Did you love them?” asked Katie. Paddy looked confused, “Don’t you know that flowers need love to grow?” Paddy still looked confused. From that day on Paddy’s garden grew bigger and bigger. Paddy’s carrots, peas, lettuce and potatoes were the most delicious in all of Fanitgo forest, and his flowers were the most beautiful. But most of all Paddy was happy because he could share it all with such a great friend.
