About the Book

The Gnome Home is a children’s story about mystical creatures with a big job—protecting the earth. The earth is under siege from pollution, climate change, abuse, and the gnomes can’t keep everything in balance. They can’t do it all. They need special help from special kids. This is where the story takes an interesting turn as the gnomes team up with a band of kids and a wily black bear to save the planet.

About the Author

Tom Harvey is, first of all, a father and a grandfather. He has four children and seven grandchildren, and they have enjoyed his stories for years. He lives in the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains, and all the adventures he writes about are true stories about life on Ennis Mountain. Previously, he spent twenty years in the army, working in the White House and Congress and presently is chairman of the Global Environment and Technology Foundation, bringing clean water to millions of Africans who are without.
