About the Author
Dr Óscar Fernández is a Senior Lecturer in Social Anthropology at the University of Leon. Apart from other lines of research, he has studied the communal movement. His results have been published in various books and Spanish and international journals. He has participated in a large number of research projects, both Spanish and international, either as Chief Researcher or as a team member.
