About the Book
The Quiet Whispers of Time poetry collection is an attempt of the author to escape the helplessness of an ordinary man in a contemporary world. As an ordinary man, the author tried to develop a series of feelings and emotions he had experienced in particular phases of his life, present condition, and the way he might feel in the future. Facing the reality of war, poverty, human tragedy, misery, love, solidarity, hope, and struggles he faces, the author attempts to escape the chains of reality that forcefully puts his identity into the shape desired by the contemporary societal norms and intrigues and tries to set the essence of humanity free of time and space. Therefore this book, which represents the author’s struggle in the crossroads of epochs, eras, centuries, and his life, is an attempt to bring the feelings he has to the readers.
