Alex and Alexa Go For A Walk

About the Book

Alex and Alexa went to visit their aunt’s farm. When they get there, it rains for days. Once the rain goes away, they are excited about going out for a walk to explore the big farm. On their walk they discover some pretty strange but funny situations. When they get tired and hungry they head back to the house to tell their aunt all about what the encountered.

About the Author

Hello, my name is Lori D. Watkins. I have a few interest that I am really passionate about. One is cooking and I have been cooking for over 42 years and another one is children and their education. I used to teach K-3 and have so many fond memories with those little one. They gave me a lot of material to use. And as much cooking that I have done and do, gave me the skills and knowledge about developing a recipe and writing my cookbooks. My cookbooks are: 'Momma T's Home Cooking, The Story of Alyce Tipper's Kitchen' and 'Family, Friends and Food'. After graduating from college in Michigan, I moved to San Francisco. I owned and operated my catering company for a good 8 years and then started thinking about writing cookbooks. That was a fun journey. Then I discovered I wanted to write a children's (picture) book and now have a few more children's books on the back burner. I now live in the suburbs of San Francisco with my husband, Ken and we have an adult son, Alex. I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, writing and 'day dreaming'. We are very active in our church and do a lot of community volunteering. I also love to entertain. I hope you read my books and enjoy them!
