The Boy and the Moon

There once lived a boy named Andrew. He always wanted to know what it was like on the moon. One day, Andrew said to his mother; “I ‘m going to fly to the moon”. “How will you get there?” asked his mum. “I’m going in a box and my engine will be fireworks” answered Andrew. That night Andrew left home, he packed some supplies; an apple, some sandwiches, a muffin, four bottles of juice, four bottles of water, tin of cookies and some cheese with cracks. Andrew set off as the clock struck midnight, Andrew went to the bottom of the chimney, dragging a box full of fireworks. “Ok….. here it goes” Andrew whispered anxiously and opened the box, but hear some foot steps, clop, clop, clop, went the foot steps. Luckily for him, he feels, the person went back upstairs. Andrew continues opening the bottom of the box and filled it with lit fireworks, then as quickly as possible he closed the bottom of the box and hopped in…… but nothing happened.
