No Voice Sit down shut up u have no voice Six kids born in wedlock without a choice Domestic violence a part of the norm Were sorry dad we didn’t ask to be born Four sisters two brothers And battered mothers no sanction, no refuge, no where to run The police didn’t care, feeling so numb Praying at night that my Father would die Listening through the walls as my mother would cry To scared to confront, to move or to say It was my life day after day

Mandy, the youngest of six children brought up on the breadline, was brought up experiencing domestic violence, physical abuse, mental abuse, operations, infertility. She hasn't let life's trials and tribulations grind her down, She now works has a a successful autonomous nurse practitioner/prescriber and spends her free time looking after her mam who sadly now has Alzheimers. Mandy has achieved six diplomas and one bachelor of science degree. Mandy,s Motto in life is whatever life throws at her, just get right back up and throw it back.
