About the Author

Eric Maurice Clark was born March 4, 1984, in Harvey, Illinois. Eric is the third of four children born to the union of Frank and Pam Clark. At an early age, Eric developed an interest in writing as he composed short stories and poems. Mr. Clark owned a videotaping business, Clark’s Video Taping. Eric’s zeal made it easy for him to find a niche in the family business as a youngster and throughout his adolescence. In 1997, Eric began a gospel TV show entitled Let’s Talk About Music, which aired in the city of Chicago. Through this TV show, Eric was able to help launch and give exposure to many local gospel artists in and around the Chicago area. Eric’s TV show also opened many doors for him through his role as a dynamic host.. He was afforded the opportunity to cohost a gospel radio show with Professor Willie James McPhatter for a number of years. In 2007, Eric’s father passed away leaving him the reins of the family business. Eric advanced as a notable videographer, carrying on his father’s legacy. He would spend the next few years capturing, recording, etc., musical live recordings, commercials, telecasts, etc. Eric later transitioned into the funeral business where he worked until April 3, 2011, where a would-be-tragedy-turned-triumph redirected his life. This death-defying ordeal thrust Eric back to his first love, writing. Eric knew that God had charged him with the task to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by way of print. Eric has arisen from the debts of defeat to the mountaintop to decree to the masses that God is yet in control He is now traveling and seeking audiences to share his story and the message of hope, purpose, and calling to this dying world.
