About the Book
This is a fun and captivating tale about Ferdy Fox, who lives in a small woodland with many other animals. He has no friends and so makes up an imaginary one. The other animals in Clearwell Copse think that Ferdy is strange and seek Doctor Hare’s wise opinion. It turns out that Ferdy is lonely because none of the woodland creatures play with him. With an opportunity to explain his unusual behavior, it is clear the other animals have misunderstood him. All ends well in this exciting and lyrical adventure.
About the Author
I am a qualified child care professional working with children under ten years of age. The majority of my time is spent with the under-five age group. I enjoy sharing books with the children and supporting them as they develop in their lives. All the children, that includes my own boys, have inspired me to write captivating and lyrical stories. These introduce potential social struggles that young children may face in a fun and amusing way. I have lived in rural locations all my life, and the woodland has played a great role in this. I am an outdoor type of person, and I am lucky that my passion for nature and animals is shared by my husband and two children.
