About the Book

Much has been written about the Arthurian legends, but very little has been done in the way of giving background to where the legends came from. His ancestors, early Britons were the first to break away from Rome’s grip. This story is about the grandfather of Arthur and tells about the early formations of the kingdoms of Britain and the Celts and how they broke away from Rome. It includes the early years of Merlin as well and the formation of the sword Excalibur.

About the Author

Anthony is a computer programmer with a BS in computer science. His main hobby is ancient history, and he writes both serious and fictional books with a strong historical basis. He has spent over twenty years researching ancient history and presently has a work in place in revising ancient chronologies. Widowed, he gives much credit to his late wife who supported his research and writing. He currently has seven kids, thirteen grandchildren, and one great-grandson, all whom are very important to him.
