Gozz leaned down slowly to Silver and whispered in her ear to ''bring me his heart'',even though his voice was low everyone heard him Gozzara looked at Yankaand said ''you are not a worthy opponent and my woman will kill you''. He then turned Silver loose; she was much faster than Yanka. she extended her blade, he swung with all his might and she easily stepped away and pivoted around slashing his skin ,leaving open bleeding wounds on both legs,she danced around him as he swung at her , she would step in occasionally and slice in to him un til he was covered in blood and sweat,he had yet to touch her.She taunted him until he was furious and out of control, then she lunged in, breaking four ribs and danced back waiting for the next opening and when it came she went in for the kill with pointed fingers and blades she stabbed deep in to his chest she felt the warm flesh and broken bones pass over her hand,when she felt it through the wetness of his blood she gave a mighty jerk and the heart came free.

About the Book
Gozzara lived for the hunt. His latest was one made of legend. Before joining his clan, he lands on what’s supposed to be an uninhabited planet. There, to his surprise, he finds Silver. She helps to heal his battle wounds there by earning her place with him. Together they proceed to train the clans up-and-coming juveniles to become hunters. Things change when a flying saucer crashes on their training ground. Then things really get out of control when the hunt becomes a life and death situation with very human problems for the big alien.

S. J. SHORES sat as a child listening to her Cherokee grandmother tell stories of the old days. Being an avid reader and a fan of science fiction, she thought to spin a different yarn. She is a member of a rural fire department. She is a wife and mother of ex-soldiers.
