Whispering Memories That Haunt The Soul is about two young girls that lose their moms at a very early age in life; very tragically. Both girls attend a private girl’s boarding school. This high school is primarily for teaching young girls how to become fine young women in life and excels in education, charm and the performing arts. It is considered to be one of the prestigious schools in concert piano playing in the states. These formidable years are highlighted by exhausting educational and musical dedication. They are enhanced by making new friends, temptation and flirtation. As the nights and days get longer, Annie and Rebecca follow the sounds of the beautiful musical notes that are played in the forbidden room. How could this possibly happen. It does and it can. The curiosity of two young girls drew them closer to the forbidden room which no one was ever to enter. Interesting enough, they are not alone. Shockingly, these notes are being played by their mom’s spirits. These amazing women, Annie and Rebecca learn how to handle themselves with decorum, grace and integrity at all times. Not an easy walk and yet they still have the consistency throughout their lives. They have looked to their moms to give them the strength of purpose, intelligence and compassion. They are guided by their mom’s spirits who are alive and thriving in the forbidden room. A series of events; the smell of lilac, the mist of blue and the small visions would somehow end up being their moms. Would they get through this time by themselves? The excitement of the reality knowing both were at their disposal for unknown questions, fears and choice of musical masterpieces to play was a joy that only they could have felt deep inside their soul but was buried with so much love. It became their best time of the day, going to the room with the shadows of their moms, the kisses, their touch, that only they would feel was gratifying in itself to be there. Over time, the room was a safe harbor for both of the girls. Annie and Rebecca’s lives, as their moms, entwined together as one body and soul. The visions and mystery that goes on in the attic with both girls and the souls of their moms is a special love. Sometimes when you feel something is lost forever, it truly is not if you believe in the unknown and trust in your inner feelings. Come join the girls in their quest for love and fulfillment.

The surprise is not in how two soulful spirits are connected but in the way they weave together to the book’s finely spun ending. The book is about a young girl who has lost her mother at an early age during 1900s. She’s the only girl in a family of seven children. Her mother dies very tragically on a lake when she was only four years old. This is about how a family handles a death of a loved one and still goes on to become a complete family. The sacrifices that families make in order for their children to be successful. Almost like today’s world? Annie’s mom was a brilliant concert piano player and renowned in many music halls of New York City and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Annie gets all the right scholarships and awards to be able to go to St. Claire’s Academy for girls in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Of course, loneliness and fears set in for the fourteen-year-old teenager. In time, she connects with friends and meets a wonderful girl named Rebecca that becomes her lifelong friend. Coincidently enough, Rebecca also has the same family scenario as Annie. No mother, a large family, and a talented mother who also has died. Both moms were piano concert players, beautiful women, and highly respected in their towns. As wealthy as Rebecca’s dad was, Richard, Annie’s father, was not. Time passes and Annie and Rebecca hear music being played during the night from the forbidden room at the attic as they sleep, but they are awakened. This room has been forbidden from day one, and all were told to never ever go near this room. During many nights, the music plays, and Rebecca and Annie’s curiosity leads them to the forbidden room. It was a visit the girls would never forget.
About the Author
I am fortunate that I have a very vivid imagination and a thirst to create. In this instance, it moved from a thought process to an inspiring novel about a girl’s childhood and her journey to womanhood. I have been told by many that I do have quite unique attributes. I use my innate abilities and character as guidelines when I am writing my books. Some of my formidable traits are as follows: imagination, adventurous, humorous, joyful, and ambitious. My days are of dreams and my nights are of reality, telling me to put them on paper. To make someone believe your dreams is phenomenal and then to have someone come into your soul and heart is pure joy. My mother was a writer with a vivid imagination, and she instilled her love of words into my heart. I was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and was raised in West New York, New Jersey. I married and moved to Paramus, New Jersey. I’ve been married for forty-eight years and have two girls and two boys and sixteen grandchildren. I also worked for thirty years in a corporate environment. Along the way, I am now able to have many stories that have yet to be told. Some real, some fiction, and you can cry or laugh with me along the way. Why not have the world read about sentimental, imaginative, and joyous stories! I now will put the pen to paper and allow my readers to come with me on a journey of a lifetime.
