A true story about a woman called Sophie. At a very younger age Sophie had dreamt of horror. In her dreams she had been able to escape to a land far, far away from home. At twenty five she left her home after marrying her husband in search of a better life. The dreaming stopped the minute she had migrated. What she did not know was she was about to walk in the dreams path for 24 years that was to follow. Immediately after moving to this country she found herself on a trial. Her crime was she was found to have a deadly infectious disease that scared the world and the first in her newly found country. For her crimes the authority killed her two unborn children. The disease was to kill her within five years and that was to be the end. Lost in the world of darkness, and misery, she was to find out that the society she was living in was scarier than god. In order to survive she lived like someone else. Fortunately she out lived the death sentence and her ordeal had just started. Sophie did fell to the ground thirteen years later and wished all the miracles there are to come help her. A blink of a second chance was granted but it was not a cure. A cure that is not modern medicine was required. Lying on her death bed Sophie had thought endlessly, “if I don’t die how can I go and live in this world that does not have messy, what is living?” Her key search words to the cure she needed were all in this question if she had known all those years. About the Book
Sophie’s World; journeys of the lost soul is about the life I lived. I had been confronted with an issue of a new disease that no one in the world knew what to do. The disease is not the only problem I was to address, but I was also pregnant at the time with twins. Unfortunately, I had moved to this country the previous year with my husband and two young children This matter was left to the authority to decide what they were to do with me and my unborn babies. It is about how the problem was solved that send me into a very dark place. I had been given five years to live; fortunately, I out lived this period. The story is about if I had only known what I know now. It is about what I did to survive. It also about what I discovered about living in general. Above all, the miracles that exist in this world I live in. In the end, my story had to be told to the world because the story has a massage for everyone.
About the Author
Sophie was born in 1963 in Rhodesia in the province of Murewa. During her teens, Sophie witnesses the suffering of her people caused by war and then moved to New Zealand. at the end of the war when Rhodesia became Zimbabwe. Sophie became one of the very first black women to to settle in New Zealand. Unfortunately, her new found world turned grey and forget who she was. For twenty four years she lived like someone else. Through a miracle she came back to remember who she was. Today Sophie strives to to tell stories about servival, miracles, self healing and the the beauty of understanding the purpose of life. Her passion is about what she discovered in her struggle and she now lives to honor that process. Now a grandmother with life filled with joy and a promising future, Sophie awaits for her next journeys.
