About the Book
This book reflects the life and inner feelings of those who may be different from what the world calls “normal”. It gives a voice to ones who are unable to speak for them selves and tell the world that “They are people too”. As the author my desire is that this book will be used as a teaching tool or a conversation starter in the classroom and/or other appropriate settings to help educate and build character, as well as raise awareness of those with disabilities.
About the Author
Tina Louise Atkinson has been married for 32 years, and from that union came two daughters. She is the proud grandmother of three grandchildren; two girls and one boy. For more than 20 years, Mrs. Atkinson was an educator in both the public and private sector. She is active in the ministry and her church and has a special passion for developing the whole child.
