About the Book

JoAnne Stoklasa currently resides in Hammond, Indiana, and enjoys writing children’s books. A story of discovery, adventure, dreams, and growing up in a small town. Who will Karen find in the Orchard? What discoveries lie ahead? What lifelong trail will Karen follow? Karen Conti has been an attorney in Chicago, Illinois, for twenty-five years. Karen graduated with honors from Northern Illinois University in 1983. Karen is also an alumna of the University of Illinois College of Law. Karen also developed and teaches boot camp for the University of Illinois College of Law. In 1990, Adamski and Conti were created. Over the years, Karen has tried several high-profile cases. Karen hosts and produces a talk show called Legally Speaking on WGN radio AM720 in Chicago. Karen also earned a Meritorious Achievement Kogan Award. Karen Conti is a partner at www.beermannlaw.com.
