Forlorn an ally I seek of my own color,
Embodying my reflection, perfectly all right,
Two mirrors reflecting each other,
Their union infinite.
When on a blissful night, my eyes closed, I dozed,
And in a moment of insight, all animation froze.
For the revelation was I selected,
Mesmerized, I realized,
Reflector I was, as also was I reflected,
And in this is the whole truth summarized.

With an unquenchable zeal;
Diverse horizons, to reveal;
Infinite dimensions, to appeal;
Absolute freedom, to feel.
Across the sky, I wanted to fly!
Magnetizing gravity, to defy;
Beyond the highest high, I wanted to fly.

My elation—Intoxication.
A trance, Divine romance.
My distraction—yet the only attraction,
My passion—Infatuation.
My only chance, my only chance,
Of exuberance—of my deliverance.

What I ought, I thought not,
In the altercations of blessings and drought,
Unassuming, unaware, I let my spirit rot.

About the Book
If death be “the end,” then life can only be a “mean.” But when we seek a meaning for life, then death is revealed as just a transformation, and life a continuous whole, where we enter and exit through birth and death with a very short conscious memory—in most cases of just a single lifetime. And if “the end” be the liberation of soul from this incessant cycle of life and death, then what the “means” should be, is what this book attempts to answer. The book is in four parts, each suggesting a way to this end. Each part respectively traces the path of a seer, a doer, a lover, and a believer, and unfolds their individual journeys to the same destiny—in a beautifully lyrical and appealing manner, in an endeavour to instigate soul-searching among its readers.
