About the Book

RE-SURGING by Venilla Rajaguru A literary volume of 101 poems A Poetry Classic! A worthy Perennial! This literary volume is on the grand theme of resurgence in life and love. Universal in thematic appeal, these eclectic poems tackle various moods, sentiments, and experience: burgeoning quests; resurfacing of socio-technical issues; rebounding social practices; and emotional explorations of love, loss, and revival of the Self. The poetic renditions span the sociological, philosophical, and metaphysical dimensions of our human experience. Every poem in this volume is composed to excellent literary standards of meter, rhythm, and rhyme, promising a delightful read. Venilla Rajaguru displays remarkable mastery of metaphorical stylistics in verse. She excels in social satire just as in her philosophical mode. Her love poems are evocatively sensuous, yet interweaving higher dimensions of communion. Her poems are brilliantly crafted with a story telling approach, and often imbued with a dramatic effect. Her narrative style is captivating. A definite Perennial of literary charm and value.
