About the Author

My name is Jean E. Lengal. I was born in NYC, but raised in PR. I actually live here in Queens, NY. I have three wonderful kids and four grandkids. I started writing poetry at a very young age. Some are based on actual events and others from my imagination. And some are dedicated to the love of my life. I remember writing my very first poem for my mom. She is someone very special in my life, and I love her very much . . . I also would like to dedicate my poetry to all the world to read because I know that, in some way or another, we have all passed through life’s experiences, and in good or bad times, we all need some kind of comfort, and I hope to give you some through my poetry . . . I also would like to dedicate my book to my grandbaby Yanaris. You bring joy to my life in so many ways. Thank you for your love . . . Also, to my husband Raymond, thank you for loving me so much and making me happy. But also, most of all, thank you, readers, for this wonderful chance of sharing my poetry with you . . . Jean E.
