About the Book
This book has a twist to it! A story telling a story! Mrs. King is reading Glory the Bear’s book to her class. This story is meant for you to use your imaginations to bring the cast of characters to life. Glory the Bear’s back was always turned to the readers because she would always move forward in believing that she was going to find her mother. When the characters told Glory to go back to where she had first started looking for her mother, it wasn’t until the end of the story that you could see her face. The message that I tried to bring out to the readers was that no matter who you are, never give up faith, hope, and your dreams. Always go “forward” in life.
About the Author
Born in Houston, Texas, Gloria arrived in Fort Worth at the tender age of three weeks old. She is the mother of three adult children, two daughters-in-law, and eleven grandchildren. The last thirteen years of her life have been spent working with children. It was the love of Jesus that gave me the wisdom to write these beloved children stories. I write from the heart and thoroughly enjoy seeing smiles spread across children’s faces as this book is read to them. Please relax and enjoy.
