I wish He was here to clean and strengthen our corrupt minds. Now I can imagine Him in everyone’s hearts and having this world as a place of art.

About the Author

Janette Simmons is from Augusta, Georgia. She is a licensed nurse who graduated from University of South Carolina. She has an AS, BS, and doctorate in business administration, nursing. She enjoys working in rehab with wounded warriors at the Veteran Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Her biggest inspirations are traveling, reading inspiring books, encouraging others, and most of all, watching Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul Sundays. Her first published poem was titled “Who Can Be.” She was inspired by her greatest mentors, her now-deceased mom, Janie Davis Simmons, and Oprah Winfrey.
