Brooke felt her knees go weak as the kiss sparked a bolt of electricity throughout her body. She felt a warm tingle all the way to her toes and would have crumpled to the floor in a puddle if he didn’t have his arms wrapped so tightly around her. If this was another dream, she certainly didn’t want to wake up. She found herself leaning in to the kiss and she wasn’t sure if the moan she heard was hers or his. When Luke broke the kiss, Brooke stood there with her eyes closed afraid if she opened them she would have imagined him, but she still felt his arms around her – she felt his hands moving up her back, across her shoulder and cupping her chin. Her eyes fluttered open to see Luke staring at her swollen well kissed lips with hunger in his eyes.

When shy Brook Adams takes a dare head-on at a friends’ bachelorette party and kisses a total stranger, sparks fly. About the Author
I have always enjoyed reading fiction romance and knew that someday I wanted to try my hand at writing one of my own. My family has always told me that I have an active imagination, so I figured that I could put that to good use. I just never really knew how to begin until one day, sitting at my computer, the first line of this book came to me, and I opened a Word document and started to type. Before I knew it, I had finished the first chapter. I grew up in a small town in northern Illinois and met my husband through a blind date set up by my oldest sister. We have two wonderful sons who support me in my journey as an author. During the summer months, our family shows quality Belgian draft horses throughout the Midwest, attending many local county fairs, Iowa State Fair, our National Belgian show, and for the first time ever, this year, we attended the World Belgian show in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, along with my brother-in-law and his wife and two children.
