What Small Vertical Line Learned

Grandpa Vertical Line and his grandson, Small Vertical Line, stood on the front porch of their very tall straight house. They watched the rain pour down and make puddles on the sidewalk. Grandpa Vertical Line was so-o-o Tall and thin you might wonder if he might not snap in two. Small Vertical Line, on the other hand, was short and thick. Grandpa Vertical Line cleared his throat and said," It has been my experience that to be an excellent Vertical Line, one must stand as unbending as a tree trunk and as upright as a soldier. All this bending and twisting and zigzagging is not appropriate for the Vertical Line family."

About the Book
I promoted an art program in Cookeville, Tennessee, for children four and a little older. This project inspired me to write several books that address some of the fundamentals of art. My background is acceptance into the BFA program in Greenshore, North Carolina, where I attended the University of NC at Greenshore from which I had already secured a degree in early childhood education. I have won awards in North Carolina and South Carolina for my artwork. My goal is to reach both children and adults through knowledge and appreciation for the arts. My belief is the arts and creativity are the heart of humanity.
