Single Again

So when did my “Now what” moment begin? I would say it began on the morning my husband told me that he no longer wanted our marriage, that he wanted us to sell our home and go our separate ways. After being married for nine years, I was afraid of starting over. No matter how dark the storm may become, God is right there in the midst steering you towards the path he has chosen. After my deliverance from fear and being alone, God became my constant companion. Had I become his mistress was another question that plagued my thoughts during this time. Am I still obligated to fulfill my wifely duties to a man who has left and rejected me. Am I that needy and confused? After my divorce, I decided that I was ready to date again….what an experience! Imagine God saying to you one day, I’ve called you to teach women how to be holy women of God” that’s your purpose. It was at this event that I met someone who looked like he had literally stepped out of my dreams and into my reality. Waiting has to be one of the most arduous things to do especially when there have been promises made or a glimpse of possibilities.
