When Sunshine and Ladybug visit Avia at the Lakehouse, they always get to visit with Bama, Avia's mommy and the girls' great grandmother. Bama was always very happy to spend the time with her wonderful little great grand-daughters - she loved to watch them swim in the pool, pick the flower they weren't supposed to pick and have picnics out on the back deck in the warm summer sun. Once in awhile, the girls would bring balloons with them. As all little children do, they loved to bring the balloons outside. And as all little children do,sometimes they weren't quite careful to hold on tightly to the ribbons. Balloons and ribbons and having fun with Avia and Bama would come to an end and their joy of playing with the balloons would prove to become the Angel Balloons for little Isabella and Katie. So come: join the family for the visits with Avia and Bama. Listen to the patter of the little feet as the girls run through the house looking for their grandmother and great grandmother. About the Book
Sunshine and Ladybug are two very special little girls who love visiting the Lakehouse to see their Avia and Bama. They learn to swim in Avia’s pool while the palm trees sway in the yard. Sometimes, they are very lucky and have picnics with Bama. Once in awhile, they even have balloons with long white strings attached to their little hands. These balloons are very special, and Sunshine and Ladybug learn that the angels like to play with balloons too.
About the Author
Aleda was born in New Jersey and always enjoyed reading. Having lived around the country, she was forced to reinvent herself many times. Aleda always wrote journals and poetry for herself, but she never thought of publishing them. So when Aleda’s children became adults and had children of their own, she found herself creating verbal stories for them just as she had for her sons. Her grandchildren seemed to take such joy from the stories, which are mingled with fact and fiction. Aleda decided to put her ideas in storybook form.
