He was smarter than most and oh so sweet A friendlier puppy you will never meet! We can only guess in wonderment At how and where his days were spent So these stories might really be true I’ve written them to share with you!

About the Book
Knute was a little black lab that grew and grew and grew until he was 160 pounds of big hairy dog! He was as sweet and nice as he was big! He lived in the North and found many friends. In this story, Knute dreams he and his best friends, Jiffy the Squirrel and Douglas the Frog, fly on the back of swans to find adventures in Africa. But it’s only a dream! Oh, how real a dream can seem.
About the Author
Annie Wingert came from a large family and married into a larger one. She has no children of her own and became very close to her nieces and nephews. Those children now have families of their own. Auntie Annie has over sixty nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
